The words…..Inside, or Outside? Dim darkness, dim light. If words were shadows, say, then could we trace anything?

Light, Noise, Text, and its shadow. Fragments drift. They are silhouettes, not arguments. A typewriter placed on the desk. The images woven upon the desk become noise,become text, become photographs, constantly changing shape, repeating it like the waves. And I wish this place were the ocean, failing that, an aquarium as vast as the ocean. Sounds are heard. They are vibrations. And the light, the faint, white smoke like light. I look at the vase upon the desk. I should sleep well.I want to sleep well. And I want to wake up to a beautiful morning.

Flowers deny nothing. They receive and then go away. In 1940, the more statues Giacometti made the smaller their heads became until they finally disappeared. The themes of "s for untitled flora: several fragments about schumann" are the multilinear system, the intermezzi, and Schumann's A. The Schumannian body knows only bifurcations; it does not construct itself, it keeps diverging according to an accumulation of interludes. Barthes.

Based on various themes from Schumann's "Kinderszenen", a noisy electric guitar will be played. The themes will undergo metamorphosis, and the fragmented ritornellos will drift through musical space. In the performance space, there will be pieces of paper on which texts have been written. People may read or not read the texts as they choose. The texts, which have been rewritten many times, exist in conjunction with the notes that now sound, now fade; they are a part of the process of the unending convergence of the intermezzi that are superimposed and wandering through the dimness. They are proceeding from the middle, through the middle, coming and going rather than starting and finishing. Deleuze & Guattari. These sounds and the written texts are nothing but the traces of the movements of the Schumannian body that I am, or that my fingers are, as they move quickly, falter, and at times come to a halt.
